Furniture, stairs and doors in solid wood
We build to measure, for one specific interior and one specific person. Every commission passes through our workshop in Raciążek, from the first measurement to the final fitting.
What we make
We work in solid timber and engineered wood. One workshop, one team, one party answering for the result.

Fitted kitchens
Cabinetry measured to the centimetre, from classic oak fronts to smooth modern fronts with an island.

The species decides the price, how the piece ages and whether it will take underfloor heating. We match it to the room, not to a price list.
- 01Hard
Oak
The usual choice for worktops and treads. A pronounced grain that darkens with the years and looks better than on day one. Scratches disappear into the structure.
- 02Springy
Ash
Barely softer than oak, but lighter and more even. It takes stain without patches, so it gives you the most control over the final shade.
- 03Smooth
Beech
Cheaper and very even to the touch. It moves more with humidity, so we suggest it where there is no underfloor heating.
- 04Warm
Pine
The lightest and cheapest of the four, warm in colour. Good for structures, attic fit-outs, carports and garden shelters.
We also build from laminated and veneered board. Where it will be hidden anyway and the price difference is real, we say so plainly.
The detail
Furniture is judged by its details - and we look after every one of them.

Our work
Photographs from real commissions. Each of these was built in the workshop in Raciążek.
How we work
No surprises at the end. Four steps, and you always know which one we are on.
- 01
Conversation and measuring
We come to you, take the measurements and listen to what the piece has to do. It is the most important visit of the whole project.
- 02
Design and quote
We pick the species, the hardware and the finish. The quote is firm, not a rough estimate.
- 03
Made in the workshop
Everything is built at our place in Raciążek, so we watch every stage ourselves and can react to changes.
- 04
Fitting on site
We deliver and assemble on site. What we leave behind is cleaned, levelled and ready to use.
About the workshop
We are a family joinery workshop in Raciążek, near Ciechocinek in central Poland.
We are not a factory and we do not want to be one. We take on fewer jobs and look after each of them personally: choosing the timber, machining it, and fitting it in your home. That is why we can build things you cannot order from a catalogue, such as stairs for an awkward stairwell or cabinetry under a sloping ceiling.
About the workshopMade to measure, not to a standard
The furniture should fit the room, not the other way round. We take the measurements ourselves and stand behind them.
One person responsible
The same person measures, runs the job and turns up for the fitting. Nobody passes the blame along.
An honest quote
The price agreed at the start is the price at the end. If something changes along the way, we say so straight away.
Frequently asked questions
Which areas do you cover?
Mostly within a few dozen kilometres of Raciążek: Ciechocinek, Aleksandrów Kujawski, Toruń, Włocławek and the surrounding area. For bigger commissions, such as a full staircase or fitting out a whole house, we travel further. Just ask about your town.
How long does a commission take?
It depends on the scope and on how much work is already in the shop. A door or a single piece of furniture usually takes a few weeks, a kitchen or a staircase can take longer. We give you the date with the quote and we keep to it.
Do you come out to measure?
Yes, and we consider it essential. Measurements given over the phone almost never match reality, and on fitted work an error of a few millimetres is visible at a glance. The measuring visit is free.
Which timber do you use?
Most often oak, ash, beech and pine. We discuss the species during the design stage, because they differ in hardness, grain and price. We also build from laminated and veneered board.
Do you only make solid wood furniture?
No. Besides furniture we make staircases, doors, interior fit-outs, timber ceilings and floors, as well as carports, pergolas and garden shelters. If it can be made from wood, it is worth asking.
Can we see previous work in person?
Much of it is in private homes, so not always. You are welcome at the workshop in Raciążek, where you can see current jobs, timber samples and finishes.
